About Buggy Iceland

We are situated in Hveradalir, only 25 minutes drive from the center of Reykjavík.

Our headquarters and startpoint of our tours is at Skíðaskálinn Hveradölum. The house is an old skilodge, beautiful as most skilodges and rather large. There we dress up our buggy drivers in a warm an cozy circumstances. In the lodge, which is always open from 9 to 18, we have a small menu. So at the end of every tour we can treat our guest with delightful food and drinks. 

The landscape around Hveradalir is ideal for buggy driving, total wilderness and challenging paths all around us, wet, steep, rough and really all elements needed for an adrenalin driven tour. We offer up to 30 seats in our tours.

Hveradalir is situated in one of Iceland´s 20 hottest spots and the lodge is surrounded by hot springs boiling with mud and water. We have our own borehole which heats up the 900 sqm house, and bakes the rye bread. We can open up the borehole to release all it´s power, which is interesting to experience.

As well as offering our standard 1 and 2 hour trips we can customize any tour according to our clients wishes, 4 hour trips and the whole day at any location. 

Our buggy´s are the best and most powerful offered by any buggy rental in Iceland and brand new! You will love all the 110 hp they offer to climb up any hill. We offer both 2 and 4 seat buggy´s.

Polaris RZR has 45,7 cm stroke length which swallows most bumps. The ground clearance is a whopping 34,3 cm so nothing will stop us in our adventures.
